VoodooShield is a security system for malicious programs and EXE files. The tool allows you to create a whitelist of certain programs, processes and EXE files that can be run on your computer without any problem. The rest that does not appear in this list will be blocked. It has two operating modes – enabled (ON) and disabled (OFF). This option will allow the deactivation of almost immediate protection so that in this way we can install a new program, and then re-activate it.
The operation of the program is quite simple. Once installed, the program will create a snapshot of the system. Based on potentially dangerous programs, it will re-create a whitelist. After creating the snapshot and blocking, we can only run the existing applications that have been installed on the computer before installing VoodooShield.
To install a new program, disable the tool temporarily (switch in OFF mode), and then install a new program or simply run it. Once it is executed in OFF mode it is automatically added to the whitelist, so be careful when and check when the switch is in Off mode or in On mode. The application also shows alerts when any EXE file or program is blocked. Then we can decide what we want to do with it: block it, execute it in the Sandbox or authorize it so that it can work without any problem.
